Union Pacific’s Historic Steam Locomotive is Coming to Gilbert

Arizona Blue Ribbon Pie Round-Up & Bake-Off will be there with games for the kids and prizes too!  Plus information about our Centennial Event being held in Gilbert in January 2013.

Saturday November 12th from 11:30am to 2:00pm.  Train Arrives at 12:45 in Gilbert’s Heritage District.  Enjoy fun games and activities for the whole family.  Take pictures with the train.  Stop by the Gilbert Farmer’s Market.  Enjoy an afternoon of Gilbert history in celebration of Arizona’s Centennial!

  • Locomotive Engine #884 arrives for photos, games and entertainment with the Territorial Band 11:30 – 2 pm
  • Gilbert Historical Museum Open Tuesday – Saturday 9am – 4pm
  • Gilbert Farmer’s Market  8 am – 2 pm
  • Bergies Coffee Roast House – 6-8pm, Jim Lockwood – Acoustic James
  • Gilbert Visual Art League annual Fine Art Show from November 8-19 will be hosted at Gallery 225 in downtown Gilbert
  • The Pink Zebra Boutique – Holiday items just arrived, unique gifts
  • Liberty Market – Breakfast, lunch and dinner 7am – 9pm
  • Joes BBQ – Open daily 11am-9pm
  • Farmhouse Restaurant – Open 6am-2pm
  • Romeo’s Euro Cafe – Open 11am-10pm
  • Hale Theatre – 11/12 at 3pm and 7:30pm for the show, It’s a Wonderful Life
